he new 3D HDTVs are supposed to be able to display full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution images for each eye. Older 3D systems would typically take native resolution and cut it in half to create the left and right eye images.

Those OLD kodak employees who have found this new company were really really DUMB. They are totally outdated – mentally as well as physically.
They are basically past their expiry date.

No STANDBY on a proclaimed GREEN TV is not a minor annoyance to many.

It’s a matter of how little you’ll accept for what you pay.

I agree that the brick is a joke and if used as a computer monitor having no standby mode would be annoying. However, for the size these Televisions ( as opposed to computer monitors) are so far ahead of everything else they have no competition and the minor annoyances can be easily overlooked and tolerated. I am buying one tomorrow.

This is great news. Most people are thinking that 3D television is a fad, but if China’s largest appliance maker is jumping on it then I’m sure it will become a staple just like HDTV has become.
