YouTube Gets 3D Upgrade

One of the big problems with 3D technology is a lack of 3D content. But today that will begin to change as the internet site YouTube announced that they will be converting all of their 1080p videos into a 3D format. Viewers will still be able to watch the videos in 2D, but there will now be an auto 3D feature integrated into the media player. The process uses a self-teaching algorithm that will accurately split the image into two and set the proper depth. To see the 3D effect, viewers will have to get a pair of anaglyph glasses.
