Toshiba 46YL863 HDTV Review

The latest HDTV to come from Toshiba is the 46YL863. This 46 inch LED display comes with full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and a 7000000:1 contrast ratio. Today, the writers from Trusted Reviews reviewed the 46YL863 and published their results. They first stated that the TV is incredibly cheap compared to similar devices. This makes the TV a bargain. The image quality was fairly good in both 3D and 2D modes. They highlighted the TV’s ability to display minute details, which is due to the high contrast. Unfortunately there were a few problems with the 46YL863’s online services. The writers thought that their needed to be more freedom and more content. In the end, the final verdict was, “The 46YL863 is a genuinely important product for Toshiba. Over the past few years the brand has become increasingly associated with the relatively low end of the TV market, earning a reputation for delivering good quality budget sets. But with the 46YL863 it’s made a serious bid for the high end again – and aside from some 3D crosstalk, the results are spectacular. A feat made all the more impressive by the fact that you can now get this ambitious TV for less than a grand.”

This blog was such a help to me. I had been looking for a new HDTV for a couple weeks, ever since I upgraded to HD Free For Life, which I heard about it through my job at DISH. Since then I’ve just been trying to narrow my choices down, and you really ended up helping me decide on this Toshiba. It’s the perfect size and you cannot beat the price! I can’t wait for hook it up and have it blast all the great HD channels, and awesome HD movies and sports I get! Thanks again!
