Sharp LC-46LE831E HDTV Review

One of the latest HDTVs to come from Sharp is the LC-46LE831E. This screen measures 46 inches and display full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and 3D content. Recently, the writers from Trusted Reviews released their experience with this TV. The main feature about this TV is the Quattron technology that uses the fourth yellow LED in order to increase the color quality. There has been much debate on whether this addition actually does anything to the image quality. The writers did note that this TV provided excellent 2D quality and even surprised the writers with how well the 3D performance was. The only notable problem was that the yellows did look over saturated at times, but that could be tweaked. The writers would have liked to see some improvements to the OS and the online features. But other than that, the writers concluded by stating, “Sharp has struggled recently to make a big impact on the UK TV scene, but the 46LE831E really deserves to change this. It’s a bit clumsy in places, and its online features need expanding. But when push comes to shove it delivers some of the best 2D and especially 3D pictures we’ve ever seen at a price that’s much more reasonable than expected.”
