Sony KDL-32EX723 HDTV Review

One of the new HDTVs to be released by Sony is the KDL-32EX723. This 32 inch display features LED edgelighting, full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and a “Mega” dynamic contrast ratio. Today, Trusted Reviews released their review of the KDL-32EX723. The writer really thought that the TV performed nicely in 2D. They stated that it wasn’t the best that they have seen, but it wasn’t the worst either. The writers did compliment the wide array of features. But probably the worst feature was the 3D technology. The writer thought that the 3D quality was filled with blurred images that were very headache inducing. Almost as equally bad was the audio that they writer stated had very little bass and a limited sound range. The final verdict was, “As a 2D TV, the 32EX723 is a perfectly respectable mid-range effort. In fact, if it’s impressive, video-driven online capabilities are up your street, it’s perhaps a bit more than respectable. If you are thinking about buying a 32EX723 for 3D, though, you’re barking up the wrong tree. Here’s hoping other new sets in Sony’s 2011 range prove more able with 3D, otherwise the brand could be in for a rather tough year.”
