Sharp LC-60LE835U HDTV Review

One of the new HDTVs to be released by Sharp is the LC-60LE835U. This TV features Quattron Quad technology and displays full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and an 8000000:1 contrast ratio on a 60 inch screen. Today, the writers from PC Magazine released their review of this particular TV. The writers were very happy with the TV’s overall design and its energy efficient performance. They did notice that the stand was a little wobbly though and thought that could use improvement. The writers complimented the 3D performance was also to see the wide color gamut, which is due to the Quattron technology. Another disappointment however was the lack of internet access and the limited web apps that were available. The final comment the writers made was, “At $2,800, Sharp’s 60-inch LC-60LE835U LED HDTV isn’t cheap, but between its green power-saving mode, its wide color range, and strong 2D- and 3D-picture performance, it’s a solid choice for a large-screen 3D HDTV.”
