LG Unveils PX950 HDTV Series

LG is proud to announce today, the release of their two new 3D plasma displays, the 50PX950 and the 60PX950. Both display can display full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and up to a 5000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Right now plasma technology is immerging to be the preferred display technology for 3D content. LG has also included internet connectivity and the TV can also use a wide array of online widgets like Yahoo, Netflix, Vudu, Youtube, Picasa and NetCast. The connection panel includes three HDMI ports as well as the normal composite, component, VGA, and antenna connection. There is also two USB ports for memory sticks and to connect the IR sensor for 3D. LG plans to display both displays at the IFA fair in Berlin, but they will be on the retail market relatively soon. The 50PX950 and 60PX950 are expected to retail for $2500 and $4200.
