One TV that will be releasing soon in the UK is the Panasonic TX-P42S20. This 42” screen has 1080p HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and an estimated 2000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Today, Trusted Reviews released their experience with the TV. The first thing the talk about is the price. The TV retails for a lot cheaper than other TVs its size, which is cause for celebration. Another reason is because of the 600Hz processor engine. This helps make the display nice and smooth no matter how fast the action is moving. The writers were not overly happy with the connection port. The panel only has three HDMI ports, but no USB or RGB connectivity. The writers do note though that instead there is an SD card slot and internet connectivity. The writers did not find any specific problems with the TX-P42S20 and in their final verdict state, “If your TV budget can only stretch to £600, then the P42S20 is a tantalizing option – especially if you’re going to be in a position to feed it quite a bit of HD fodder. However, we can’t help but think that if you can stretch to £150-£200 more, the extra quality and features you can obtain from the Panasonic P42G20 are worth every single extra penny.”
