LG Pairs 3DTVs with 3D Blu-ray Players

A few days ago LG announced the release of two new 3DTV series, the LX6500 and LX9500. Today, the company is proud to announce that they will be pairing their 3DTVs with new networkable 3D Blu-ray players and two sets of 3D glasses. The whole reason for the bundle is so that the consumers can buy the entire set in one shot instead of having to pay for each component separately. The dual glasses are also a nice touch since most companies are only shipping one set of glasses per TV. Peter Reiner, senior vice president, marketing, LG Electronics USA, says, “While consumers are still seeking the ultimate 2D HDTV home entertainment experience, demand for 3D technology is growing by the day, and as more content becomes available in the 3D format, this demand will continue to increase.”
