The Panasonic TC-P54VT25 is one of the company’s new 3DTVs. This TV features a 54” plasma screen, full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and an estimated 5000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Today, CNET released their review of this TV. One of the first things the writers highlighted was the contrast and black levels. They really thought that this aspect was the best feature of the TV. However, this aspect was also one of the down points as well. This is because plasma TVs have a tendency to lose their black level performance after long periods of time. This fact was true for the TC-P54VT25. Another aspect that the writers liked though was the THX features. They thought that this helped bring out accurate colors and even better color saturation. The writers also took a long look at the 3D picture quality and thought that it was very impressive. Their final thought was, “With both 2D and 3D sources, Panasonic’s flagship TC-PVT20/25 series plasma TV delivers outstanding overall picture quality.”
