If you are looking for a good TV reviewer you need only look at your nearest aquarium. In a recent study, scientists have discovered that octopuses prefer the images of an HDTV over an older CRT TV. The reason why they are showing these creatures TV is to try to judge the behaviors of the different octopus species. By using the TVs the scientists are able to subject the animals to numerous tests in the same day with out having to bring in other animals. The two major images that they display include another bigger octopus and a video of a tiny crab, which is the creature’s preferred food. Octopuses have a very sophisticated eye that was not able to interpret the 24fps CRT images. However, when shown a faster 60fps HDTV, the creature acted like the images were real.
