How to Control Your Home Theater PC
HD Nation brings the latest HD content your PC and this week they start the show off by talking about some of the better HD shows that are out there like Build it Bigger, Chuck, and How It’s Made. Ever week the hosts do a top five HD movie list and this week the list is dedicated to the Coen Brothers Movies that aren’t on Blu-ray yet. The movies include O Brother, Where Art Thou, The Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona, Blood Simple, and The Hudsucker Proxy. Also featured on the show; the past couple of weeks, Robert has been building his own home theater PC from scratch and this week he talks about possible remote controls so that he doesn’t have to get up every time that he needs to use the computer. One of the solutions that he is thinking about is product called the loop pointer and is basically a ring that comes with standard mouse buttons. To control the pointer, the user simple has to waive the ring around in the air. The only problem though is that this device only controls the PC part of the theater, which means that he would still need a universal remote for the rest of the system. The last article that the hosts talk about watermarks or wrinkles that might appear with LCD HDTVs. One fan wrote in asking about suggestions on how to fix the TV. Unfortunately though, the hosts noted that it can’t really be fixed and instead discuss several ways that the problem could happen, which includes manufacturer defects. To try and help the wrinkles, the hosts do suggest using a wooden or smooth roller could be used to smooth out the problem.
