A few months ago, Vizio released their VF551XVT HDTV. Today, certified retailers announced that the retail price has dropped from the original $2199 to $1699. The display features a 55” screen, full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and a 2000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The TV features LED lighting, which reduces the thickness down to just less than 5”. The TV comes with 5 HDMI ports as well as a composite, s-video, dual component, a VGA, antenna, USB, and several audio ports. Vizio has also included a 240 Hz video processor to provide smooth motion scenes.
