Samsung and LG Announces 3DTVs Coming Next Month

The race to release the first 3DTV might end in a draw as both LG and Samsung has announced that next month they will be releasing their first 3D HDTVs. Samsung plans to release their 9000 series that they highlighted at CES last month. The series is thinnest HDTV to date and uses LED technology to display full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. LG will be displaying their new LE9500 series. This series comes in sizes between 32-inch to 55-inch and also has 1080p HD resolution. Both companies use the active shutter glasses technique. Unfortunately, neither company has announced yet any retail prices.
