Panasonic Reveils TC-P50VT25 HDTV

TC-P50VT25_a1

It’s apparent that Panasonic is leading the way in 3D HDTV technology. Today, the company announced one of their first 3D ready displays, the TC-P50VT25. This 50” plasma TV will be able to display full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and an estimated 5 million to 1 dynamic contrast ratio. Panasonic’s 3DTVs will use the shutter technique, which requires battery operated shutter glasses in order to get the 3D effect. The plasma technology used for the TV not only delivers 3D content, but it also ensures that each eye is seeing full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The TV will come with four HDMI ports and will have Wi-Fi capabilities. Panasonic has not announced the release date of this TV yet.
