Panasonic TX-P58V10 HDTV Review

The Panasonic TX-P58V10 is one of the company’s best plasma HDTVs. This 58” display features 1080p HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and a 40000:1 contrast ratio. Recently, the writer from Trusted Reviews released their experience with the P58V10. The TV is fairely huge in size. The 58” display is also matches with a frame that juts out a few inches. The TV is definitely not a top seller due to its looks. The connection panel is very well designed. The inclusion of a front SD card slot helps as well as 4 HDMI ports. The quality that the TV can produce is more impressive than the design. The V-Real Pro 4 video processor engine is more than capable of handling the major aspects of the display like noise reduction, scaling, color, and the digital cinema color system, which can only be found in Panasonic HDTVs. The image also provides incredible sharpness and color saturation to give the most realistic display possible. The final verdict the writer made was, “The P58V10 may only be a solid standard definition performer, but it goes without saying that a screen of such magnitude simply cries out to be fed a diet as rich in high definition content as possible. And with HD, its performance truly is imperious – even more so, I’d argue, than Panasonic’s more expensive ultra-thin Z1 range.”
