Myka Introduces ION Media Player

One of the biggest fads with HDTVs is the ability to browse the web from your living room. Many media boxes and HDTVs have the ability to access the internet but with limitations. Recently, the developers from Myka have released a new media player that will allow full access, the ION. This device is more than a simple media player; it’s an Atom-based media PC. The box relies on NVIDIA’s Ion graphics set in order to access the internet. The device can access virtually any website including Hulu and Boxee, just to name a few. The ION features a 1.6GHz dual-core Atom 330 CPU, up to 4GB of RAM, ten USB ports as well as a VGA, DVI, and HDMI output, an eSATA connector, Ethernet and several audio ports as well. In addition, the ION features a fanless design in order to prevent noise and distractions. The ION is available now and is priced at $379.
