The LG 22LU5000 is one of the company’s many ‘designer’ TVs. This 22” display uses LCD display technology and features full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. Recently, the writer from Trusted Reviews got the opportunity to see how well this HDTV works. The TV features a white frame with orange trim as well as a transparent stand. The writer jokes that this HDTV is designed for the lady of the house. However, even though the 22LU5000 has a girlish figure, it has more than enough to keep both women and men interested. The writer was very surprised to see that this little 22” display uses full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, but he also thought that a screen this size wouldn’t be big enough to display the minute detail that bigger displays can do. The only major complaints the writer had with this HDTV was minor issues with the black levels and the motion blur and judder. The writer was also not impressed with the audio and thought that the TV could use a better bass system. The final verdict was, “While I can’t bring myself to give a second-room TV with underwhelming audio an unreserved recommendation, the 22LU5000 certainly deserves praise for its startlingly decent pictures and eye-catching – so long as you like this sort of thing! – design.”
