LG has recently announced that they will be releasing soon their new W2286L HDTV that combos as a PC monitor. The 22-inch display features a 1650 x 1050 resolution as well as a 2000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. By using LEDs, the TV consumes 40% less electricity than other 22-inch TVs currently available. The lighting system also contributes to the TVs slim design, measuring only 20 millimeters (about ¾ of an inch). In addition, the device also comes with dual HDMI ports as well as a DVI port for your PC. Unfortunately, the W2286L is only expected to be released in Korea right now. Pricing has also not been released yet. But the company did announce that there will soon be a 24-inch version sometime before 2010.
