Toshiba is a market leader for LCD TVs. Today, the company announced that they will be shipping two new series of HDTVs as well as announcing a third series that will be released at the end of summer. All of these new models are part of the REGZA series and features the latest ClearScan 240 motion enhancement. They also come with 4 HDMI ports as well a USB port and SD card slot for photos, video and presentations. The enhanced video is paired with the new Dolby Volume sound leveling, and Audyssey EQ. Toshiba has the privilege of being the first company to use these features in their HDTVs. These features use human psycho-acoustic algorithms to ensure a consistent volume level, even during commercial and changing channels.

The REGZA ZV650 series features full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution as well as a 100000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. This series focuses on the new ClearScan 240 technology and is capable of displaying enhanced fast-motion picture quality. The ZV650 series comes in three sizes: 42-inch (42ZV650U), 47-inch (47ZV650U), and 55-inch (55ZV650U). Retail prices range between $1299 and $2399

The next series that’s already available is the SV670, which is Toshiba’s first generation of LED TVs. Available in 46-inch (46SV670U) and 55-inch (55SV670U) sizes; these TVs also feature full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution as well as an impressive 2000000:1 contrast ratio. The LED TV is a relatively new technology and features a lesser power consumption and is more environmentally friendly. The 46SV670U retails for $2299, while the 55SV670U retails for $2999.

Last but not lease is the XV648 Series. There is not a lot of information about these models, but we do know they use LCD technology and feature Toshiba’s new CrystalCoat Technology, which stops ambient room light reflections from washing out the picture. This new series will not be available until August and will come in 40-inch (40XV648U), 46-inch (46XV648U), and 52-inch (52XV648U) screen sizes. The retail prices will range between $1100 and just under $2000.
