Samsung Releases Seven LED HDTVs in Levant Region

Samsung is quickly paving the way in LED HDTV technology. Recently, the company announced that they will be launching three new series in Levant region. In total there seven TVs that are being released, divided into three series. However, all of these models feature the same HD (1920 x 1080) resolution as well as a 3000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

First is the 6000 series, which is designed more towards high picture quality. These models also come with InfoLink, which allows the user to instantly access information from online, provided the HDTV is connected to the internet. The 6000 has three display sizes, 32-inch, 40-inch, and a 46-inch, which are called, UN32B6000, UN40B6000, and UN46B6000, respectively.

Next is the 7000 series which is geared more towards connectivity. All the HDTVs in this series features Samsung’s USB 2.0 Movie Multimedia Center, which allows the user to connect virtually any digital device via a USB port and play video, photos, and even MP3s quickly and easily. The 7000 series has three models, UN40B7000, UN46B7000, and UN55B7000, which are repectivley 40-inch, 46-inch, and 55-inch displays.

The 8000 series encompasses all the main features of the 6000 and 7000 series to create a total package HDTV. In addition to the features mentioned above, the 8000 series also comes with Auto Motion Plus, which is the latest in motion-blur reduction technology. This series only has one model being released in this area, the UN55B8000 that comes with a 55-inch display.

Panasonic Releases TH-50PZ850U HDTV

Panasonic has recently announced that they have released their latest plasma HDTV, the TH-50PZ850U. This model features a 50 inch display, full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and a 30000:1 contrast ratio. This TV comes with a variety of connections, including four HDMI ports, composite, s-video, component, VGA, and an Antenna connection. In addition, there is also an SD card slot that allows a user to display photos, video, or music from their phones, cameras, and other devices that use an SD card. Another major feature is that this TV has Ethernet capabilities and can access online content like YouTube videos, weather reports, Picasa, and Bloomberg. The TH-50PZ850U HDTV is currently available through Panasonic’s website and is priced at $2999.

Yamaha Releases NeoHD Receiver

Yamaha is an innovator in home theater and digital audio and video reproduction. Today the company introduced the new neoHD receiver. This receiver controls all the HD audio and video content that is connected to the house’s AV system. Equipped with a simple remote, neoHD makes it easier to navigate and access all audio and video content no matter if it’s stored on the AV hard drive or a connected computer system. The device can control up to six AV components at once. The neoHD comes in one of three package options; the first being the YMC-500, which is the basic model for $600. There is also the YMC-700 version that comes with Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity for only $800. Last but not least is the YMC-S21 version that comes with its own 2.1 speaker system. This version also retails for just under $800.

JVC Releases LT-42WX70 HDTV

JVC is proud to announce the release of their newest HDTV, the LT-42WX70. This TV features full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a 50000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a 42 inch LCD display. This display also features a super slim, light weight design that measures less than 2 inches thick and weighs only 26.4 lbs. The connection available were not all announced, but we do know it features 3 HDMI ports as well as a VGA port incase you want to use this HDTV as a monitor. The HDTV is designed with photographs and color reproduction in mind. The 42WX70 can display images with the high quality that professional photographers use. The LT-42WX70 is currently available through JVC and retails for just under $2400.

Mvix Announces Ultio Media Player Coming Soon

MvixUSA is the market leader in technology and products for hard-disk based HTPCs, portable media-centers and hi-definition digital signage players. Recently, the company announced the soon to be released Ultio media box. This device supports a long list of media formats including DivX® (3/4/5/6), Xvid, AVC-HD, MPEG 1/2/4, WMV-9, ASF(WMV9), MKV, DVD(IFO, VOB), ISO, MP3, WMA, AAC, OGG, FLAC, AC3, and many others. The Ultio is capable of playing HD (1920 x 1080) resolution content and can also pull content from internet websites like Netflix, Hulu, and Youtube, just to name a few via Ethernet or an optional Wireless-N dongle. In addition, the internal hard drive comes with a 1.5 TB storage capacity. The Ultio will not release until July 6th, but the company is accepting pre-orders for the low price of $169.

Samsung UE40B7000WW HDTV Review

Samsung’s new LED HDTVs are quickly growing in popularity. Among the collection is the UE40B7000WW, which features a 40-inch display and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. Recently, the writers from NDTV Gadgets got the opportunity to review this TV. One of the best aspects that come with LED TVs is the super slim design and the UE40B7000WW is no different. With out the stand, this model is only 1.2 inches thick, which makes it ideal for mounting on the wall. The TVs performance is almost as incredible as the design. The writers noted that they really enjoyed the quality of the displayed image. The image was sharp, crisp and had impeccable definition. The flaws with this device were few, most of them involving sound quality. The writers also noticed some picture problems during their lab tests, but after testing it in real-life environments the problems seemed to disappear. One of the comments the writers said was, “So the Samsung is brilliant across the board, combining excellent detail, believable colors, smooth edge definition and rock-solid movement into an extremely enjoyable whole.”

Hannspree Releases ST251MKB HDTV

Hannspree is a leading developer of lifestyle and designcentric consumer electronic products. Today, the company announced the release their ST251MKB HDTV. This model features a 25 inch display, full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and LCD display technology. The TV is sleek allowing it to me mounted on the wall. The connection panel includes all the ports that you would expect, including dual HDMI, a composite, component, s-video, and antenna connection. The ST251MKB also comes with a 20 watt Dolby Digital sound system. “Hannspree has delivered high-end, very unique televisions to the design-focused users. Samsung Releases P2370HD Monitor HDTV Combo In Korea

Samsung has recently announced that they will be releasing their new P2370HD 23 inch display. This display is initially as a monitor, but Samsung has added all the connections needed to make this monitor a suitable HDTV. The P2370HD features full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, LCD flat screen display technology and a natural 1000:1 contrast ratio, with the ability to transform to a 50000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The major feature about this monitor is its built-in HDTV tuner, which allows a user to switch from work to leisure in no time. In addition to a HDMI and VGA port, this device also comes with DVI, composite, component, and an s-video connection. Unfortunately, the P2370HD is only being released in Korea right now, but a worldwide release is coming soon.

ZINNET Release CinemaCube and Air HD Systems

ZINNET has announced that they are releasing their new HD media player called CinemCube. This device connects to either your home network or a USB hard drive and plays a variety of media files. The CinemaCube supports a wide variety of media files including RM, RMVB, MP2, AVI, H.264, VOB, MOV, MKV, DivX, Xvid, and WMV video files. This device can also support up to 720p HD (1280 x 720) resolution. In addition, the company is also releasing the Air HD device, which is a transmitter/receiver kit that can transmit full 1080p content over a wireless connection. The Air HD allows your media equipment and your HDTV to be in different rooms or in other locations that are more suited for the user’s needs. Both products are now available through ZINNET. The CinemaCube retails for just under $90, whicl the Air HD system sell for $399.

Sharp Announces ITC Ban Won’t Affect USA

Yesterday you may have read about the ban on select Sharp HDTVs because they infringed on patents from Samsung. Today, Sharp has announced that the bed should not affect consumers in the US. According to the report, Sharp has already discontinued the banned models and has released new HDTVs with the same name but with an added “N” at the end. There is no word yet how these new models will differ from their older counterparts. Right now Sharp is waiting for the new models to be approved by the ITC More information about the new models will be announced as it becomes available.
