Mitsubishi PD-4265 Plasma HDTV

Mitsubishi is no stranger to plasma technology having first introduced plasma display product in 1996. Mitsubishi continues the tradition of offering high performance, cutting edge products with this new series of HD-upgradeable plasma monitors. The new 42-inch PD-4265 and 50-inch PD-5065 feature advanced, industry leading 12-bit color processing, which yields over 8 times the number of colors available in traditional plasma products. This high precision color process delivers over 64 billion colors producing breathtaking, vibrant images. Both monitors include Mitsubishi BrightCell™ plasma technology, which provides remarkably bright images with vivid colors, not to mention a sharper and more detailed picture. Another feature shared by both displays is Mitsubishi MicroFilter™ technology. Each plasma cell has a matched microfilter that optimizes red, green, and blue phosphors to create truly natural color balance and more realistic images.
